Return Protocol United Icons BV

Applies to: Purchases made through the webshop www.unitedicons.nl and at official points of sale (dealers).

1. General

United Icons BV strives for customer satisfaction. This return protocol describes the conditions and procedures for returning items. The protocol applies to all purchases of clothing and accessories. Our conditions supplement your statutory rights, such as the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases (online).

2. Your Statutory Rights & Our Conditions

Statutory right of withdrawal (online purchases):
For purchases made through our webshop, you have 14 days to withdraw from your purchase without stating a reason. This period starts the day after receiving the goods.

Return conditions:
To be eligible for a return (both withdrawal and warranty), you must meet the following conditions:

  • Condition of the item: Items must be unworn, unwashed, and undamaged.

  • Labels: All original labels (such as care instructions and price tags) must be intact and attached to the item.

  • Packaging: Items must be returned, as much as possible, in the original, undamaged packaging.

Use of the product:
You may unpack and inspect the product as you would in a physical store. Note: If you use the product in a way that exceeds what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product, your right of withdrawal may lapse, and United Icons BV is not required to reimburse any depreciation in value.

3. Return Procedure

Always follow the steps below to correctly register and process a return.

Step 1: Report your return or complaint
For quick and correct handling, we kindly ask you to contact our Customer Service in advance via sales@unitedicons.nl. Please include your name, address, order number, the items you wish to return, and the reason for return. Our staff will assess your request and provide further instructions.

Step 2: Complete the return form
Download the official return form from our website: www.unitedicons.nl. Complete the form fully and accurately, and include it in your return shipment. Without this form, processing may be delayed.

Step 3: Send the package

Ensure proper packaging to prevent damage during transport.

Return costs:

  • Withdrawal (non-defective): Return shipping costs are at your own expense.

  • Defective or non-conforming product (warranty): Return shipping costs will be reimbursed by United Icons BV.

We recommend using a shipping method with tracking. United Icons BV is not liable for return shipments lost during transport.

4. Warranty & Goodwill

Statutory conformity warranty:
In addition to the right of withdrawal, you are entitled to conformity. This means products must meet the terms of the agreement. The statutory conformity warranty applies to consumer goods.

Commercial warranty:
United Icons BV offers an additional 6-month commercial warranty on all items for manufacturing and material defects, provided the product has been used and maintained correctly according to the supplied instructions.

Goodwill:
For items older than the commercial warranty period, but which still show a defect, we assess complaints based on goodwill. We reserve the right to determine on a case-by-case basis whether a solution is possible. Proof of purchase is required.

5. Processing

Once your return shipment has been received and inspected, you will receive a confirmation by email within 5 working days.

  • Withdrawal (non-defective): After receipt and approval, the purchase amount (excluding original shipping costs) will be refunded to your original payment method within 14 days.

  • Warranty case (defect): After assessment and in consultation, we will offer a free repair, replacement, or refund of the purchase amount, where possible. Return shipping costs will be reimbursed by United Icons BV in this case.
